Chef Mattias developed a taste for great cooking at an early age while growing up in Sweden, first by tasting and cooking with his mother in their family kitchen and later as an apprentice at local restaurants as a teenager. He has been a professional chef in and around Santa Barbara since 1991 and now comes to your rental where he will cook with seasonal and organic ingredients from our local markets. Mattias makes everything himself; from decor to menus, photography and of course his website where you can read up on clients who praise his clean rustic flavors that comes with a professional yet relaxed approach. He offers a variety of options for any event with an easy set-up that includes all tableware, eat-ware, glass-ware, silver and decor for one simple per-person cost with no hidden charges.
Private Chef Robin
Robin is a California chef who works her culinary magic combining unique flavors with seasonal local products. As a professional chef, for over 30 years, Chef Robin provides an intimate, home-cooked experience that is anything but traditional, using classic techniques she honed at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and is a caterer, event planner, food writer, instructor and food consultant. Through her travels and working abroad for many years, she has developed a flavorful Mediterranean cooking style and was written about it in her three cookbooks, Simply Delicious Wine Country Recipes-A Taste of the Santa Ynez Valley, A Taste of Ojai-Small Plates and A Taste of Santa Barbara-Crafting a Meal infusing the distinctive and unforgettable flavors of the Mediterranean. Martin and Debi started catering weddings and corporate affairs in 1983 with what their area is known for, the Santa Maria Style BBQ, using red oak indigenous to the Central Coast. It takes a lot of experience to bbq for large numbers and serve to hundreds of guests either in a plated or buffet style and have everyone give rave reviews on the quality of the meat. Their chicken and seafood entrees are also extremely popular. Seasoned roasted local vegetables, also from the Santa Maria Valley, grace the plate as well as the palate. If the client wishes a different cuisine, Executive Chef Alex, with over 20 years of experience, will present a menu for any specific request. Chef Coco is a local California girl who has grown up surrounded by fresh produce and a family oriented around the garden. After 8 years as a private chef on luxury super yachts around the world, Coco has returned to cook closer to home. Coco loves cooking simple local food that highlights fresh ingredients and feeling great. She specializes in Mediterranean family style cuisine and as a certified raw chef, she can happily accommodate any special dietary needs. Chef Melissa is an Alabama born, Johnson & Wales University trained, Registered Dietitian, chef and cookbook author with an A-list clientele. She recently moved to Santa Barbara, CA from New York City. Her passion is plant based cuisine that nourishes and satisfies the soul, but will cook anything your heart desires. She believes in families coming together through food and adores cooking in a client’s home for family dinners, hands on cooking classes for kids or adults, and presenting exquisite locally sourced food for intimate get togethers and so much more!

His depth of understanding the farming process from start to finish is apparent in his rustic yet refined approach, and showcasing locally grown and raised produce and meat.
Chef Jensen Lorenzen
As a chef Jensen has become close friends with farmers, ranchers, foragers, cheese makers, vintners and brewers. Working as a part of the local food community has given him a close connection with locally harvested and seasonal foods. He believes that cuisine should be a reflection of a region, as such, sustainably harvested ingredients and thoughtfully sourced products are the heartbeat of all of his menus.
Chef Adair has worked for 20+ years in the culinary arts as a Chef: With a hospitality degree from the Le Cordon Blue, restaurant and executive Chef/Owner, 10 years in high end restaurants in Napa – Sonoma and owner of a catering company. Chef Adair & Co. has performed 100’s of catering and private chef dining experiences and events.
